Women in Business are a phenomenon. Yet, despite our achievements in business and enterprise, we are letting ourselves down when it comes to financial literacy and management.

We pinch the pennies, stretch the pounds and work hard to make money, yet we are unwilling to gain knowledge about it! Lori Dickerson Fouché, chief executive officer of Prudential Group Insurance argues, “Women don’t feel prepared to make wise decisions and are not sure what to consider when evaluating their options. They don’t seem to be taking action either,” and there could be serious implications.

A lack of Financial Literacy, means a lack of effective Financial Planning. This in turn means poor decision making which can impact our businesses, children and families.
