Joel Blake on Dear Youngers Called Conference

#CALLEDtheConference is the latest initiative to come from the #DearYoungers Project, a ground breaking program from Nathan Dennis of First Class Legacy. A peer to peer support outreach service, this project uses the power of Social Media to challenge and change attitudes of Mental Health among young men. The aim is to bridge mainstream and grassroots communities by building a presence through medium/s that young people can and do relate to. Founder of First Class Legacy, Nathan Dennis says, “Research suggests that young people cannot go 10 minutes without checking their social media through their phones. So what better way to try and engage them than by bringing our service to where they spend most of their time? Our project provides real talk and advice for young men helping them to keep their mind right and their emotions in check during the different struggles life can bring.”

Focused on inspiring the next generation, the #CALLEDtheConference brings together a stellar line-up, committed to sharing their experiences to help young men and women to develop stronger minds and resilience through the benefit of their wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Offering different perspectives includes, Errol Lawson, Craig Pinkney, Justice Williams MBE, Adam Brux, Spoken word Artist, DanManssSquad and Joel Blake, Entrepreneur who joins us in the studio to share more about the project, and explain why he is involved.
