Financial Style – 6th May 2016

This week we’re looking at the Small Business Exchange and the importance of small businesses doing business with other small businesses!  Statistically these sorts of SME relationships create more success and so we explore this with Director of Other People’s Data, Una Brown were explains why she is staging the Small Business Exchange networking event at the end of the month.

In this week’s Money Matters we take a look at the new 0% deposit mortgage being offered by Barclays bank, but what’s the catch? While it sounds like a good thing, it brings us to Life and Style where Rakeem and I question the Bank of Mum and Dad (BoMaD), and how far parents should be expected to go to support their children.

In Business Insight we explore the Importance of Trademarks, after it is revealed that even the big boys get it wrong as proven by Apple Corporation losing a landmark case in China over the use of “iPhone” name.  Finally, we hear from Clare Roberts, Chair of the Wolverhampton Women’s Business Forum to find out how women of WV are being inspired.  It’s just one of the great events that you can attend this week, check out the events section for more details.
